The Free Application for Federal Student 援助 (FAFSA) is a form that is completed annually by students 和 their families used to calculate each student’s Student 援助 Index (SAI). The SAI is then used to determine the student financial need 和 federal 和 state aid eligibility.
The FAFSA application is available online beginning October 1 each year for the next academic year. 访问 www.studentaid.政府 to create an FSA Username 和 Password, if you do not already have one, 和 complete the FAFSA. We recommend students 和 their families complete the FAFSA as soon as possible to have the best chance possible at receiving any funds that they are eligible for. Any student wishing to apply for financial aid should complete the FAFSA online, regardless of whether or not they think they will receive aid. In order to ensure Ursuline College will receive your results, please use our school code, 003134.
Electronic FAFSA processing takes approximately one week. You will receive an electronic FAFSA Submission Summary in response 和 the same results will be electronically sent to each college you listed on your application.

Students 和 parents are required to use a Federal Student 援助 (FSA) ID Username 和 Password to access certain U.S. Department of Education websites. You must first obtain this FSA ID Username 和 Password in order to electronically sign the FAFSA. 你可以通过选择申请 创建账户 链接在顶部 http://studentaid.gov 网页.
Your FSA ID will not only give you access to your FAFSA information, but it will also allow you to make corrections on your application, sign student loan promissory notes, 和 view your federal loan history. Returning students should also complete the Ursuline College Supplemental Application. This can now be completed on-line through Net Partner. This supplemental application updates the financial aid office on any changes in your major or expected graduation date as well as how many credit hours you plan to take in the coming year.
Ohio residents do not need to complete a separate application for the Ohio College Opportunity Grant (OCOG). 信息rmation is sent to Ohio Department of Higher Education upon completion of the FAFSA. The state organization does have a deadline of October 1st – your FAFSA application must be received by then in order to be considered for state funds. 例如, a 2023-2024 FAFSA must be submitted by October 1st, 2023 in order to meet the eligibility requirement for the 23-24 school year.
