Ursuline College sophomore Camryn Hill was named the U.S. Basketball Writers Association Division II Women's Basketball Player of the Week for the week ending December 6.
Hill was named the G-MAC Athlete of the Week for the second time in three weeks for her performance last week against Wilberforce and Ohio Christian.
She becomes the first G-MAC athlete to win the USBWA Player of the Week.
The Arrows are off to a 6-1 start on the season, just two wins shy of matching last year's win total of eight.
Hill had a 20 point 11 rebound performance in 29 minutes last Wednesday against Wilberforce. She was an efficient 7-for-10 from the floor and also had two assists, two steals and a blocked shot in a 100-58 win for Ursuline.
On Saturday, Hill finished with a career-best in points and rebounds with 32 and 19 in an 84-64 win over Ohio Christian. Hill was 11-for-18 from the floor and 3-for-4 from beyond the arc and a perfect 7-for-7 from the charity stripe.
This season Hill is averaging a double-double with 15.3 points and 10.1 rebounds per contest. She is ranked third in the G-MAC in scoring, fifth in field goal percentage (57 percent) and second in rebounding (10.1) behind teammate Laney Lewis.
