Students enrolled in The Breen School of Nursing’s online MSN in Leadership track take selected master’s core courses to enhance clinical reasoning and utilize evidence–based practice, as well as five additional courses focused on leadership development. Through coursework and clinical experiences, students develop the knowledge and skills to become nursing leaders with advanced skills in systems and management.

The National League for Nursing has designated the Breen School of Nursing a national Center of Excellence and U.S. News & World Report ranks Ursuline's MSN program #34 among the nation's top graduate nursing programs and #3 in Ohio.
The master's of science in nursing and the post-graduate certificate programs at Ursuline College are accredited by the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE) through 2025.
Students applying for admission must meet both the general requirements for admission to all graduate programs and the specific requirements of the particular program of study. For the MSN program, admission requirements are as follows:
Applicants are urged to initiate formal application as far as possible in advance of the semester or term in which they plan to enroll. Graduate nursing courses begin in the fall and spring semesters. Post master’s classes start every semester.
